So a client sent us some land, said it looked cheap. We had to look at it, had four metres of fall. What that basically means is when we look at the lot, it's four metres of fall, which is a massively sloping piece of land.

Does that mean that we can't do anything with it? No, not necessarily. What it does mean though, is that you're gonna have additional site works, additional retaining that's required in order to build the house, or the house maybe needing to be built on stilts.

If that is the case, we just need to look at the cost of construction and we need to look at the discount on the land to see whether it's worthwhile proceeding on that lot. So that's one of the main services that we offer, is looking at the house and land holistically to make sure that it works within the price point and it works within your finance and the grants that you're applying for.
